1. Who We Are
WFHub is operated by an individual ("Operator"). This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the Service at wfhub.net.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:
- Email address — provided at registration. Used for email verification, password recovery, and matching Gumroad purchases to your account. Stored in hashed/plain form only for these purposes.
- Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash (bcrypt). The Operator cannot read your password.
- Purchase history — records of digital goods you have purchased.
- Basic analytics — anonymised events to understand usage patterns, including page visits and watch connection results (watch model and whether the connection succeeded or failed). No personal identifiers are attached.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- Real names or physical addresses
- Device identifiers or fingerprints beyond what is standard in server logs
- Real-time location, health, or activity data from your smartwatch
4. How We Use Your Data
Data is used solely to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Track your purchases and provide access to purchased files
- Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymised analytics
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Sessions
We use a single httpOnly cookie to maintain your login session. This cookie contains a signed JWT token and expires after 7 days. No third-party tracking cookies are set by the Operator.
6. Third-Party Services
We use Patreon for subscription membership. When you connect your Patreon account, we receive your Patreon user ID and store OAuth tokens solely to verify your active membership status. Patreon collects payment information directly and their own Privacy Policy applies. We do not store payment card details.
We may use a third-party feedback tool (Formbricks) for in-app surveys. Participation is voluntary and their privacy policy applies to any data you submit through surveys.
7. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page, which permanently removes your account data from our systems. Purchase records may be retained for accounting purposes. Accounts that have been inaccessible for an extended period due to a lost password may be removed automatically to free up resources.
8. Account Recovery
If you lose your password, you can request a reset link from the sign-in page. The link is sent to the verified email address on your account and expires after 1 hour. If your email address is not verified or you no longer have access to it, account recovery is not possible.
9. Your Rights
You may delete your account and associated data at any time through the Profile page. For any other data requests, contact us through the feedback button on the site.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
